An exciting new folk festival for Hertfordshire
Come and be a part of the UK's newest folk festival, set in the village of Kimpton in the heart of rural Hertfordshire.
Headlined by Nancy Kerr & James Fagan, one of the most acclaimed acts on the world folk stage, the three-stage festival presents an impressive array of established and emerging UK folk acts, along with some accomplished local folk performers, in a relaxed, friendly and welcoming village festival.
Wild Willy Barrett's Loose Connection, The Jacquelyn Hynes Trio, Jaywalkers, Ben Smith & Jimmy Brewer, Kelly Oliver, John Dipper & Dave Malkin, Worry Dolls, Emily Slade, Will McNichol & Luke Selby, George Papavgeris, The Foxglove Trio, Batkin-Hill, Malcolm Hobbs, PLUS local legends Nigel Hyams, Steve Warner, Richard Stewart, Brian King, Bill Redway, Doug Jenner PLUS instrument workshops, dancing, sessions and lots more!
Three ticketed concerts on the main stage in the Kimpton Memorial Hall will present a broad array of brilliant artists playing in a variety of traditional musical styles, from English folk to blues and American country and bluegrass.
Throughout the day, the Village Green will host a wide variety of free entertainment, with wall-to-wall fun and frivolity under an open-sided marquee, culminating in a summer ceilidh for all.
There will be a continuous concert the beautiful old 13th century church, as well as fiddle, guitar ukulele and whistle workshops in The Dacre Rooms, where experts will show you how to develop and hone your skills. Multiple entry to church concert is £5 and workshops are £3.
All-Day tickets are £27. Afternoon tickets, giving access to any event except for Concert 3, offer excellent value at just £16. See our 'Tickets' page for full ticket price information.
